Use of Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies (e.g., web beacons and pixels) to collect information when you interact with our Services. These technologies help ensure security, prevent crashes, fix bugs, save your preferences, and enable core functionality.

We may also allow third parties and service providers to use these technologies for analytics, advertising, and remarketing. This includes displaying personalized ads and tailoring content to your preferences — on our platform or across the web — depending on your communication settings.

If such use is deemed a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under US state laws (e.g., for targeted advertising), you may opt out by following the instructions under the section titled "If you reside in the US".

Details on how we use cookies and how to manage your cookie preferences can be found in our Cookie Notice.

Analytics

We may share information with web analytics providers to understand how users engage with our Services.

Our Use of AI

As part of our Services, we provide and use features and tools powered by artificial intelligence and machine learning (collectively, "AI Products"). These tools are designed to enhance the quality of capture, annotation, and dataset delivery. Your use of AI Products is subject to the terms set out in this Privacy Policy.

Our AI Products support capabilities including automated annotation, action recognition, depth and pose estimation, segmentation, and natural language search over capture metadata.

How We Process Your Data Using AI

All personal information processed through our AI Products is managed in accordance with this Privacy Policy, our Privacy Notice for Contributors, and any applicable agreements with third parties. We apply strict security and privacy measures and, for contributor data, only process it for training where you have provided consent. We do not use Customer Data uploaded to the Tridi platform under the MSA to train Tridi-owned or third-party large language models without the customer's prior written consent.

How to Opt Out

If you wish to opt out of having your data used to train our AI Products (where opt-out is offered), please contact us using the details in the "Contact Us" section of this Policy.

Our Use of Social Logins

You can register or log in using a third-party account (e.g., Google or LinkedIn). When you do this, we may receive profile information such as your name, email, profile picture, and other public data from your account.

We only use this information as described in this Privacy Policy or as otherwise made clear at the time. We do not control how third-party platforms use your data. Please review their privacy policies to understand how they collect and use your information.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with legal obligations.

We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting, or other legal requirements).

When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize such information, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

Specific retention periods vary by data type and are detailed in our Privacy Notice for Contributors for contributor data.

Data Security

We implement technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure so we cannot promise or guarantee that hackers, cybercriminals, or other unauthorized third parties will not be able to defeat our security and improperly collect, access, steal, or modify your information. Although we will do our best to protect your personal information, transmission of personal information to and from our Services is at your own risk. You should only access the Services within a secure environment.
